Welcome to Traverse Connect! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Traverse Events Ltd ("Traverse Events", "we", "us", or "our"), the company that operates the Traverse Connect platform ("Platform"). By accessing or using Traverse Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By registering for and using Traverse Connect, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
2.1 User Data
You grant Traverse Events Ltd the right to collect, store, and use your personal information, including but not limited to your profile, photos, and content, for the purposes of operating the Platform and providing services to Clients.
2.2 Sharing with Clients
We may share your information with Clients for marketing, promotional, and business purposes. This includes your profile information, images, influencer statistics, and any other Content you upload. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you and is based on our legitimate interests in facilitating collaborations.
2.3 Analytics Tracking
We use analytics tools to track user behavior and interactions on the Platform. This information helps us improve our services and enhance your experience.
2.4 Direct Collaboration
Traverse Events Ltd may facilitate direct collaborations between Influencers and Clients. We may act on behalf of Clients to work directly with Influencers when required.
Please note that changes made to your public profile or bio page may take a short time to appear due to browser or server-side caching. If updates do not display immediately, we recommend refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. Traverse Events Ltd uses static page generation to ensure performance and scalability.
2.5 International Data Transfers
You acknowledge and agree that your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of the UK and EEA. We will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during such transfers, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
2.6 Event Applications
By applying to attend an event through our Platform, you agree that we may process your personal data as necessary to facilitate your participation in the event. This includes sharing your personal data with the event host and other relevant parties.
2.7 Our Role as an Intermediary
Traverse Events Ltd may, from time to time, act as an intermediary between Clients and Influencers. In providing these Intermediary Services, we may facilitate communications, negotiations, and coordination of projects between the parties. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that we may perform such activities to facilitate collaboration opportunities.
2.8 Data Sharing and Processing
When acting as an intermediary, we may process and share your personal data with Clients and other relevant parties as necessary to facilitate collaborations. This includes sharing your profile information, communication records, and any other information pertinent to the collaboration. All data processing will be conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2.9 QR Codes and Event Check-ins
For event participation, you may receive a unique QR code on your event ticket. Additionally, a QR code may be displayed at the event venue. These QR codes are used to verify your attendance at the event.
By scanning your ticket's QR code or the QR code displayed at the event while logged into your Traverse Connect account, you agree that Traverse Events Ltd may collect and store your attendance data, including the time and date of check-in. This data is used to verify your attendance, ensure the validity of your ticket, and maintain an accurate register of event attendees.
The use of QR codes helps us track attendance in real-time, ensuring that only users with valid tickets can participate in the event.
3.1 Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any Content, including images and photos, that you upload to Traverse Connect. By uploading Content, you grant Traverse Events Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the Content for the purposes of operating the Platform and connecting you with Clients.
3.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the Content you upload, including profile photos and headers. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to upload the Content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
3.3 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
3.4 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the Platform and participating in collaborations. Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays or disruptions in the services provided.
3.5 Uploaded Images and Media
By uploading custom images, thumbnails, or any other media to your profile or bio page, you affirm that you have the legal right to use and share such content. You grant Traverse Events Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display this content on your public profile and related services. We reserve the right to remove or moderate any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
3.6 Link Accuracy and Safety
When adding custom links to your profile, you are responsible for ensuring the URLs are accurate, properly formatted, and do not lead to malicious or harmful destinations. Traverse Events Ltd may sanitize or reject links that are malformed, deceptive, or violate our policies. Always use full URLs beginning with https://.
3.7 Platform Moderation
Traverse Events Ltd reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content, profile elements, links, or images at our sole discretion if we believe they violate these Terms, infringe intellectual property rights, or are otherwise misleading, harmful, or inappropriate.
4.1 Email Communications
By registering on Traverse Connect, you consent to receive emails from us regarding your account, updates, promotions, and other relevant information. You can manage your email preferences in your account settings.
4.2 Notification Settings
You have the option to turn on or off notifications and communications from Traverse Connect in your account settings.
Your use of Traverse Connect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal information.
6.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6.2 By Us
Traverse Events Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Platform, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
All intellectual property rights in the Platform and its Content (excluding user-generated Content) are owned by Traverse Events Ltd or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our express written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Traverse Events Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Platform.
8.1 Intermediary Services
While we aim to facilitate successful collaborations between Clients and Influencers, Traverse Events Ltd is not responsible for any agreements or contracts entered into between Users outside of the Platform. We do not guarantee the performance or conduct of any User or third party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms between you and Traverse Events Ltd.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we are unable to resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed to seek legal remedies.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Your continued use of Traverse Connect after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
